Hubspot Review: Is This CRM Worth It?
Choosing customer relationship management or CRM software is important because it helps with all aspects of sales, marketing, and of course, customer service.
One of the most popular programs is HubSpot, but is it really worth all of the hype it receives? The software has been around awhile and many businesses of all sizes are on board with it, but does that mean it’s as good as it seems?
Let’s take a look at HubSpot CRM in a little more detail.
Just the Basics: What Is HubSpot CRM About?
HubSpot is in competition with programs such as Salesforce, Freshworks, Salesflare, and numerous others, and while all of these programs are excellent at what they do, we’ll take a look at some pros and cons so you can decide for yourself which one is right for you.
HubSpot is a great all-in-one solution that offers both free and paid plans, which means you can try it out and determine if you like it before you sign up for a version you have to pay for.
One of the best parts about HubSpot CRM is that it is a comprehensive software that businesses of all sizes can use to their advantage.
It is always voted one of the best CRM software packages because of its professional reporting, UI, lead management, Email Marketing, and sales features.
Let’s take a look at some of the pros and cons associated with HubSpot.
Pros
Some of the advantages of using HubSpot include the following:
The free plan is extraordinary. Most free plans aren’t that great regardless of what you’re looking for, but the HubSpot free plan is different.
You get tons of great features and you can even manage up to one million contacts without paying anything. This means that if you’re a start-up business on a budget, you can use the software and get a lot in return.
You get flexible pricing options. HubSpot has many different payment plans and while some of them are pricey, you can save a lot of money by bundling them together.
You get access to both standard plans and personalized plans, and you can even choose the Starter Bundle that gives you all of the hubs and starts at just $45 per month.
It is super easy to use. Some CRM software can be complicated or difficult for non-techies, but this isn’t so with HubSpot CRM. The software is intuitive and every part of it is easy to access, even with hundreds of valuable features available.
It is powerful but not difficult, and this applies even if you aren’t the most tech-savvy person on the planet.
It provides a scalable and modular solution. In practical terms, this means your marketing solutions will expand as your business grows, so your marketing needs will always be met.
You can mix and match the solutions they offer as well as the payment plans for each module you choose, which means any plan you choose is personalized to meet your needs.
It offers a lot of free tools. Even if you’re using another CRM program, HubSpot gives you access to tools you can use for free.
This includes a tool that gives you ideas for your next blog, email signature generator, and lots of free business templates. These things make it especially easy for people who are just starting their business and need lots of tools to make it work
Cons
Like any other product on the market, HubSpot CRM has its disadvantages as well as its advantages, even though they aren’t that severe. Here are a few of them:
The pricing tiers can be difficult to understand. It can therefore be a little overwhelming to decide which one is right for you.
There is no customer service support on the free plan. Unless you’re paying for one of this CRM software’s plans, you cannot access their customer service department when you need them.
The free version has limitations. While HubSpot’s free version is better than most, you can only access 200 email tracking notifications per month, which might not be enough for you.
In the end, it’s up to you whether HubSpot is the right software for you. The thing is, it gets far more positive reviews than it does negative ones, and since there is no long-term contract required, you have nothing to lose by giving it a try
CRM Pricing: How Does HubSpot Compare?
The many benefits that HubSpot offers make it a great program for businesses of all sizes and types, but the one area they could improve on is their pricing structure. It’s rather difficult to understand, but here are the prices for their Basic plan (other plans may be higher):
STARTER
$45/month
PROFESSIONAL
$800/month
ENTERPRISE
$3,200/month
Keep in mind that you get tons of free tools with HubSpot, including CRM tools, sales tools, service tools, and marketing tools. The Starter Growth Bundle is $50 per month and gives you access to everything HubSpot offers except the CMS Hub.
The CMS Hub offers things such as the ability to build your search authority, manage your social media channels, and publish blogs, among other things. Lots of big-name companies use the CMS Hub, including Trello and SurveyMonkey.
Even with the Starter Growth Bundle alone, you get features such as ad retargeting capabilities, up to 5,000 monthly marketing emails, and advanced analytics dashboards, to name a few.
The Sales Hub gives you tools such as email tracking and call recording, and the Service Hub allows you to build a detailed online knowledge base to help out customers and create a very high-tech help desk and ticket automation system.
In other words, the HubSpot CRM software is good for a variety of business products and services. While it does have its disadvantages, it isn’t rated highly by most critics for nothing.
